RUNNING: Amazing Run 2 Run Adventure Familiarization Run

RIZAL, PHILIPPINES. April 07, 2013, Sunday was the PIMCO's familiarization run for Amazing Run 2 Run Adventure Trail Marathon. This event has a a very cool concept as runners need to have a buddy all through out the race.

This is a special race event for running in tandem, the running buddies, running couples, running friends, running parent-son/daughter, running brothers/sisters, a team of two. The main rule is you have to leave the starting gate together and you have to finish the race together.

Participants must register in teams of 2 members. They can be same genders or mixed genders. You have to find the best combination for you – either male/female, young/old, male/male, female/female. Make sure to get a running partner with the same pacing, “walang iwanan”, you have to arrive at each station at the same time and the finish line at the same time. There is no division just one set of winners for each Category.

6:30 am was the call time for those who wants to experience the familiarization run. "Many were called, but few were chosen." The familiarization run was opened for those who were registered for the event. But even though a lot already registered, only few participants attended the said familiarization run which gives attendees more time to be with the trail/nature and converse/interact with one another.

This will be muddy on the race day. (i guess :)) hahaha and i wish)

After finishing the 10-11 kilometers of trail, we got a chance to roam around Ten Cents to Heaven. Located at Sitio Mayagay II, Tanay Rizal, Ten Cents to Heaven is an ideal place to unwind and be recharged  from the fast-paced life of the city. It provides different activities from camping, trekking, to zip lining, enjoying the 4x4 ride and waterfalls sight seeing. Visitor's can also enjoy the 360-degree view of magnificent Sierra Madre Mountains and Laguna de bay.
