#FoodPH - I found my BAY! Sharing my Sarangani Bay Prime Bangus Experience!

Every time I explore a place, besides attractions and artsy stuff, I always look forward to have a gastronomic adventure. Philippines is composed of more or less 7,107 islands and it’s always a battle for each place who has the best of this and this. In terms of seafood, Visayas and Mindanao always compete with each other. Having said that, as I was doing my groceries, I come across a frozen product from Sarangani.

Found my BAE! Taste test of Marinated Baby Milkfish (daing na bangus) of Sarangani Bay Prime Bangus. I didn't know this product exists in the market and it's awesome I finally discovered it. Excited to try the spicy flavor and other variants. 🐟👍😍 Enjoyed this delicious innovation with rice, salted egg with tomatoes and freshly brewed coffee. Sarangani is one of the provinces in the Philippines which is part of South Cotabato. This place is rich for natural resources both in land and in sea. It boasts its expertise in aquaculture proven as they are the Philippines’ largest processor and exporter of premium quality bangus as well as many other processed seafood products.

It was really catchy to see milkfish in bright blue packaging showcasing the freshness of the milkfish. I bought the marinated baby milkfish in original and spicy flavor. I was really excited to try it because I am craving for “daing na bangus” for weeks so imagined how my eyes glistened when I saw Sarangani Bay Premium Bangus!  Each pack is composed of 5pcs. of high quality marinated baby milkfish and I must say that it’s affordable for its price.

I am slowly transitioning to fish from red meat diet as it has more health benefits. It provides various health benefits due to the vitamins and minerals it contains such as iron, zinc, iodine, vitamin B1, folic acid, and especially the omega-3 fatty acids that is known to prevent heart diseases.

Having a taste of freshness in a pack is not anymore a surprise but it’s commendable how Sarangani Bay maintains its standards and quality of their products. Commercially packaged frozen fish can taste as good as fresh caught harvests because they are carefully “fresh frozen” within a very short time after being caught, locking in freshness and flavor.
