#CulturePH - Rewarding Experience – A Sodexo GC Story
Each one of us have been rewarded at some point of our lives. May it be at home, at school or even at the office as part of employee engagement activities.
I am lucky enough to be part of an awesome organization who values employee engagement seriously. They came up with a pointing mechanism for those who participates in company related activities. Each quarter, the Human Resource Department and its arm, PeoplePillar, creates activities which will cater to develop the interests of its employees related to mind, body and soul. Activities includes but not limiting to dance and yoga classes, calligraphy and paper cutting sessions, sportsfest (volleyball, basketball, table tennis, bowling), career talk, financial and wealth management and a lot more.

Each activity corresponds with points which one can accumulate through the course of a quarter. Top 40 people can choose from a Sodexo Gift Certificate, spa privileges, company merchandise and a lot more.
I am a self-proclaimed fan of most, if not all, activities that our company is creating. For the past 8 quarters, I am proud to say that I am always part of the Top 5. When it comes to choosing my reward, I always choose Sodexo GC amounting to PhP 1,500. I saved all the gift certificates I acquired for 8 quarters which made me able to buy a refrigerator for my sister’s condo. Isn’t it awesome? You’re having fun and at the same time being rewarded for doing what you want to do in the workplace.
There’s a lot of cool stuff that one can choose from the rewards list but I always make it a point to request for the Sodexo GC. I am sharing you reasons why this is always first on my list:
1. You can use it in 10,000 plus partner merchants. You can check them HERE.
2. It is forever valid. Once the validity is reached, you can ask for it to be replaced free of charge.
