Soon, BGC will be able to savor a global fusion of flavors in a single bowl. On August 14, SALADSTOP PTE. LTD. ("SaladStop!" or "the Group") and its licensee, SSI Group, Inc. ("SSI Group"), will open the first global and flagship HeyBo location in Central Square BGC.
SaladStop! pioneering healthy menus in Asia
The first and biggest chain of healthy restaurants in Asia, SaladStop!, was founded as a family business in Singapore in 2009. The group established significant markets outside of Singapore and had exponential growth in Asia.

SaladStop! continues to challenge the fast food industry with its nutritious offerings with over 70 outlets and a presence in seven markets across Asia Pacific. “We wanted to go deep into the markets and be able to cater to the varying demands for healthy food – by offering affordable pricing, incorporating more flavorful profiles, and providing increased accessibility to more people. Thus, HeyBo was born,” added Adrien.
HeyBo, the brighter grain bowl
HeyBo, a combination of "hey," a common greeting among friends, and "bowl," focuses on using regional tastes in its warm grain bowls. Every bowl is a celebration of tastes and textures familiar to every culture and is cooked to bring out the distinctive robust flavors buried within. It uses and highlights healthful foods from all over the world.
Each HeyBo client will be reminded of a comforting and satisfying dinner at home as they are greeted with joyful welcomes from its friendly personnel and the scrumptious smells emanating from its open kitchen. Its cozy interiors are decorated with a combination of terracotta, wood and weaves, pottery, and marbling as an homage to the collective and various customs and traditions of Asian culture. Inviting customers to take pleasure in a warm meal and delightful conversations, communal dining tables and booth seating are artfully arranged around the intimate room.
A vibrant burst of color from the wall art created in collaboration with Boysen, the top paint producer in the country, serves as the restaurant's focal point. In 2018, the Global Responsible Business Leadership Awards named Boysen as the Sustainable Company of the Year. Boysen collaborated with Bando Arts, a group of gifted Filipino muralists under Boysen, to realize HeyBo's purpose of celebrating flavors and textures common to all cultures.
