#CulturePH - FedEx Contributes to Social Needs of Marginalized Youths in the Philippines Through Education
Over 5,900 students from the Ricardo P. Cruz Elementary School in Taguig, Manila, and the Callos Escopalia Elementary School in Santa Cruz, Laguna received educational support from FedEx Express, a division of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), one of the largest express transportation companies in the world.
FedEx gave laptops, printers, tablets, books, school materials, agricultural tools, hygiene kits, medications, and two years of internet service as part of the FedEx Cares initiative to enhance kids' learning. Additionally, 13 FedEx volunteers organized art classes for more than 90 students and told stories.
