#CulturePH - 15 SM malls partner with the DENR and LGUs in mobilizing coastal clean-ups in 12 sites nationwide.
On September 16, 2023, at SM By the BAY and other SM Malls across the nation, SM Cares, the corporate social responsibility division of SM Supermalls, and SM Prime Holdings, Inc., are preparing to collect the largest haul of trash and marine debris.
The increased involvement of SM—15 SM malls in 12 sites across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—will make it possible for more volunteers and staff to participate in the cleanup effort and protect the marine environment and its resources for the communities it serves.
Over 11,000 volunteers are expected to gather at SM malls in support of International Coastal Clean Up Day. |
SM Prime calls on communities to sign up and join clean up drives with designated SM malls. |
