DITO’s digital marketing campaign Galing DITO, which celebrates Filipino talent and excellence across the country, received two gold awards- Excellence in Social Media Marketing and Excellence in Multilingual Marketing- and won silver in Excellence in Brand Strategy.
Initially launched in 2022, Galing DITO made a comeback this year to elevate Filipino excellence by bringing together emerging talents from diverse cultural backgrounds. This year’s campaign featured more talents, showcasing their “galing” in a diverse mix of passions like Grace Palicas, a tattoo artist from Cordillera, Nhoda Muñoz, miniature artist from Pampanga, Cid Cempron, blacksmith from Central Visayas, Joneil Severino, leaf artist from Eastern Visayas, Nurainie Ampatuan, fashion designer from Bangsamoro, and Bea Vega, surfer from Siargao.
This year’s movement is headlined by the fast-rising Pinoy pop boy group Alamat, who performed the official “Ang Galing DITO” music video. The group is known for its members coming from different regions in the Philippines and for its multilingual songs.
Marketing Excellence Awards (MEA) is a Singapore-based marketing communication awards platform in Asia that recognizes the Philippines’ outstanding marketing campaigns. Winners were chosen and judged by an independent panel of high-caliber and senior industry experts from reputable brands. It is also the premier platform for marketers to showcase their creative excellence, successful strategies, and effective delivery.
