#CulturePH - CCP and Arthaland Team Up Again for an Exciting Art Exhibit!
Get ready for another amazing collaboration between the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and Arthaland! These two powerhouses are renewing their partnership to bring you the “Kuwentong Kahoy” exhibit, and it’s going to be a must-see event.
A Partnership for the Arts
The CCP and Arthaland have been working together to promote Philippine arts and culture, and their latest collaboration is set to continue this fantastic journey. The partnership was officially renewed with a signing ceremony at the Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, attended by key figures from both organizations, including CCP Chairman Jaime C. Laya and Arthaland Vice Chairman and President Jaime C. González.
Bringing Art to Everyone
With the CCP Main Building undergoing rehabilitation, the CCP is finding new ways to bring art closer to every Filipino. One of their main goals for 2024 is to expand their outreach programs, reaching wider audiences across the Philippines. This partnership with Arthaland is a big step in that direction.
The Kuwentong Kahoy Exhibit
Mark your calendars! The “Kuwentong Kahoy” exhibit will run from October 30 to December 2, 2024, at the Sevina Park Pavilion in Biñan, Laguna. This exhibit will feature selected artworks from the CCP 21st Century Art Museum (21AM) Collection, offering a unique and thought-provoking experience for all visitors.
A Sustainable Vision
Arthaland is not just about art; they are also committed to sustainability. Sevina Park, where the exhibit will be held, is an 8.1-hectare master-planned community that has achieved multiple sustainability certifications. It’s the perfect place to host an exhibit that combines art, sustainability, and community engagement.
A History of Collaboration
This isn’t the first time CCP and Arthaland have teamed up. Their partnership began with the “Details & Abstractions” exhibit in 2022 and continued with “Udtong Tutok: Art At High Noon” in 2023. Each collaboration has brought something new and exciting to the table, and “Kuwentong Kahoy” promises to be no different.
