That’s when FedEx launched its direct service operations, taking control of logistics processes nationwide. Fast forward to 2017, and we saw the opening of service hubs in Bonifacio Global City and Clark, Pampanga, solidifying FedEx’s role as a key player in the Asia-Pacific region.

The real game-changer came in 2021 with the FedEx Clark Gateway Facility. This state-of-the-art hub can sort up to 9,000 parcels per hour and is a powerhouse for cold-chain logistics and e-commerce. With a dedicated freight-handling area of 630 square meters, it’s designed to meet the growing demands of bulk shipments and large items. Talk about efficiency!

Empowering Employees

At the heart of FedEx’s success is its people. The company’s PSP philosophy—People-Service-Profit—emphasizes that by prioritizing employees, outstanding service and profitability naturally follow. FedEx has been recognized for its commitment to creating an exceptional workplace, bagging seven awards at the HR Excellence Awards 2024 Philippines. Kudos to the team!

Making a Positive Impact

FedEx isn’t just about business; it’s about community too. Through FedEx Cares, the company has made generous donations and supported various initiatives. One standout project is the Empowering Women Scholarship Program (EWSP) in collaboration with Zonta Club of Makati and Environs. This program provided scholarships to 60 women in STEM at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, along with professional skills development webinars and career fairs.
