Generika Drugstore, in partnership with Ayala Foundation, is making dreams come true with their Enrollment to Employment Scholarship Program. This initiative is all about empowering the next generation of pharmacists, especially in rural areas where healthcare is most needed.
Meet the Scholars
Let’s dive into the inspiring stories of some of the scholarship recipients:
Micaella Abedejos from Davao City is on a mission to help her sick grandmother. With her knowledge from pharmacy school, she explains medications to her grandmother, ensuring she understands their purpose and avoids any potential errors. Micaella’s passion for pharmacy stems from her desire to make a difference in her community.
Elizabeth Montano of Bacoor, Cavite, was inspired by her father’s stroke. She remembers being intrigued by the complex names of his medications and decided to pursue pharmacy to ensure patients’ safety. Elizabeth is dedicated to mastering the skills needed to be an excellent pharmacist.
Maureen Concon from Davao City comes from a family with limited means. Her father’s illness forced him to stop working, leaving the family to rely on a small sari-sari store. The scholarship has eased her financial worries, allowing her to focus on her studies and future career.
Hannah Menor of General Trias, Cavite, was overwhelmed with gratitude when she received the scholarship. It has motivated her to excel in her studies and reminded her to never give up on her dreams. Hannah is determined to help her family and make a positive impact in the healthcare field.
The Bigger Picture

This program not only supports the scholars’ education but also contributes to the growth of human capital in their communities.
A Vision for the Future
