#TheaterPH - Discover the Magic of “Tiny Beautiful Things” This November!
Get ready to be swept off your feet this November with “Tiny Beautiful Things: A Play About Life – In Letters,” making its grand Philippine premiere! This heartwarming production is the perfect finale to The Sandbox Collective’s 10th-anniversary season, #SandboxNowandTen.
Inspired by Cheryl Strayed’s time as an anonymous advice columnist, this play beautifully blends fiction and non-fiction. Directed by the talented Jenny Jamora, the set design aims to create a space that feels both nebulous and familiar, reflecting the intimate journey of the characters.
The spotlight will shine on the incredible Iza Calzado, who takes on the role of Sugar. She’ll be joined by a stellar cast including Rody Vera, Gabby Padilla, and Ketchup Eusebio, who will portray a variety of letter writers seeking Sugar’s sage advice. Their stories, though anonymous, capture the essence of the human experience, resonating deeply with audiences.
Adding to the magic, the artistic team features some of the best in the industry. From Marcel David as assistant director to Kayla Teodoro’s set design, and Kiefer Sison’s lighting expertise, every detail is crafted to perfection. The production team, led by Toff De Venecia, ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Mark your calendars! “Tiny Beautiful Things” will run from November 16 to December 8, 2024, at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Black Box Theater in Circuit Makati. Catch the shows on Fridays at 8 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets are available at Ticket2Me (bit.ly/tinybeautifulmnl) and through our official show buyers.
Don’t miss out on this touching and transformative experience. Hope to see you at the theater!
