A Story of Love, Fear, and Control
"Kisapmata" takes us inside a seemingly perfect Filipino family living on Zapote Street. The retired policeman, his wife, and their daughter live a life of domestic bliss until the daughter falls in love. Suddenly, the home becomes a battleground as the father, Tatay, goes to extreme lengths to protect his family from perceived threats. This intense drama explores themes of love, fear, and control, unraveling the dark secrets hidden behind closed doors.
Meet the Talented Cast and Crew
Directed by Guelan Varela-Luarca, with assistant directors Rafael Jimenez and Kat Batara, "Kisapmata" features a stellar cast from the Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company. Jonathan Tadioan stars as Dadong, with Lhorvie Nuevo-Tadioan as Dely, Toni Go-Yadao as Mila, and Marco ViaƱa as Noel. The artistic team includes JM Cabling for movement direction, Joey Mendoza for set design, Bonsai Cielo for costume design, and Arvy Dimaculangan for music and sound design.
