The mission takes Harper to a Berlin lab linked to suspect activities, but what seems like a straightforward operation quickly turns deadly. Betrayed and on the run, Harper uncovers layers of deceit as he fights for survival and a way back to those he loves. Directed by Swedish filmmaker Tarik Saleh, "The Contractor" is packed with intense action sequences and a gripping narrative that echoes '70s-era paranoia thrillers and Bourne-style action.

Beyond the action, "The Contractor" delves into the heavy consequences of Harper’s choices and the struggles of veterans thrust into a world that often abandons them. Chris Pine hopes the film will make audiences think about the treatment of veterans and the mental health challenges they face. "I want people to think about what we do to our veterans and how we treat them," Pine shared in an interview with IGN.
