A Thrilling Start to the Season
This marks the second time the Philippines will host the opening stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, the first being in 2019. The 2025 season opener promises high-flying action with 24 elite divers from around the globe, pushing the boundaries of human potential.
Meet the Divers
The competition features 12 male and 12 female divers, including top athletes like Great Britain's Aidan Heslop, Italy's Andrea Barnaba, Spain's Carlos Gimeno, and USA's James Lichtenstein. The women's category includes Italy's Elisa Cosetti, Netherlands' Ginni van Katwijk, USA's Kaylea Arnett, and Australia's Rhiannan Iffland.

Pushing the Limits
Unlike Olympic diving, which takes place from a height of about 10 meters, Red Bull Cliff Diving challenges participants to dive from 27 meters for men and 21 meters for women. These athletes will hit speeds of about 85 km/h before slicing into the waters below, demanding exceptional precision, courage, and mental fortitude.
The Perfect Stage
El Nido's dramatic cliffs provide the ideal setting for this extreme sport, presenting a formidable challenge with natural rock formations, shifting weather conditions, and open water. The combination of these elements creates an unpredictable environment that tests the skill and adaptability of each diver.
