The Far Eastern University Theater Guild (FTG) is back with a bang, opening its 91st season with an experimental play that promises to captivate audiences. Get ready for "Niyebe: Isang Musikal," a groundbreaking production set to run from February 12 to March 27, 2025.

A Heart-Wrenching Tale of Love and Loss

Set against the harsh winter backdrop of Europe, "Niyebe: Isang Musikal" tells the tragic story of newlyweds Billy Sanchez and Nena Deconte. What starts as a dream honeymoon quickly turns into a nightmare when a small scrape on Nena's finger leads to her untimely death. Stranded in a foreign land, Billy is left to grapple with solitude, grief, and despair, confronting profound questions about existence and identity. This powerful narrative is brought to life through the masterful adaptation and direction of Dudz Teraña, who seamlessly blends music, movement, and rich storytelling.

The musical features a dynamic cast, including RB Pascua and Dave Bambang as Billy Sanchez, Kesiah Eunice Aritao and Brigitta Claire Marilla as Nena Deconte, and Aaron Bayani as the Narrator. The ensemble cast adds depth and vibrancy to the performances, making this a must-see production.
